St. Jude Catholic Church was established in Martin, Tennessee, in 1966 as a mission extension of Immaculate Conception Parish in Union City. In 1982, St. Jude was established canonically as an independent parish in the Catholic Diocese of Memphis.
The family atmosphere which was initiated during its beginnings has prevailed through the present. Because of the diversity of our involvement in the local civic community, our more than 300 parishioners are able to extend this spirit of friendliness and hospitality to every aspect of contemporary life.
Regular worship services, religious education, and social outreach constitute the major activities of the parish.
